Introducing Lifebridge Sanctuary
Beauty Privacy Quiet
Lifebridge Sanctuary, the Hudson Valley’s newest meeting and retreat centre is truly a place of beauty, privacy and quiet, offering a perfect environment for overnight retreats or day conferences.
The care taken in every aspect of the design and building of the facility, together with the expansive Catskill views and the unspoiled woodland environment have helped to create a space perfectly suited to deep reflective work and purposeful creativity.
–Bob Dandrew, Director NoVo Foundation.
Retreats and Conferences
The Lifebridge Sanctuary is a 12,000 square foot hand crafted, green facility on 95 acres of forest and spectacular open space on the Northern crest of the Shawangunk Ridge, close to the small township of Rosendale, eighty miles north of New York City. A variety of meeting spaces are available, including the Upper Room with a wide view of the Catskills, holding up to 60 people and numerous smaller spaces. Up to 30 people can stay in the comfortable bedrooms, many with mountain or forest views. Dining can be inside or out, formal or informal and events can be fully catered or the group can prepare meals together in the state of the art kitchen.
–Eileen Rowley, Agency Director, Ulster County Dispute Resolution Center
Affordable
The Lifebridge Foundation is able to underwrite some of the costs of the facility making the price very affordable and attractive to non-profits. Local, regional, national and even international groups have held board and staff retreats, trainings and workshops at the Sanctuary. All have commented on the beauty and care with which the building was constructed. Please contact us for bookings or enquires about availability and costs.
–Barbara Valocore, Lifebridge President.
Powered by the Sun
During the summer and fall of 2011 a new solar system was installed at the Sanctuary. The six solar panels provide 85% of the buildings' electrical needs.
